The Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats is the first independent , non-governmental, global professional institution and awarding body, providing training and accreditation for practitioners of commercial diplomacy in government ministries, parastatals, corporations, public and private institutions worldwide. The Association is a strategic and collaborative partner of many academic, diplomatic and intergovernmental organisations worldwide. Its role as a professional commercial diplomacy body is to train and provide accreditation for practising Commercial Diplomats. ACCD is a professional organisation with a membership drawn from the trade, economic, foreign affairs, legal, anti-corruption, and commercial diplomacy professions. Its main sources of finance are membership subscriptions, specialist programmes and forums.
